Assist any user anytime
By downloading a small, self-executing program, end users can receive instant support without firewall configurations. Best of all, OnDemand doesn’t leave a footprint. When the session ends, it deletes from the end-user computer.
Stay secure
OnDemand is secure with user-confirmed access and security roles to meet end-users’ security policies. Furthermore, it does not rely on third party servers to route traffic and offers 256-bit AES encryption, securing all sessions from eavesdropping.
Solve user problems in a snap
Netop OnDemand is operational in seconds and you have a real-time copy of the end user’s desktop right on your screen. OnDemand allows you to quickly and easily see the exact issue for faster diagnosis and problem resolution.
Work like you are there
Use keyboard and mouse like you were sitting in front of the end user’s computer - edit registry, install patches, drivers or drag and drop files with the interactive, split-screen file manager.
Chat with the end user
No phone, no problem. With built-in instant messaging it is easy to stay in contact with the end user
Designed for the professional help desk market, Netop Remote Control OnDemand is a fast, secure and reliable solution that provides instant remote support over the Internet.
Netop OnDemand provides unparalleled flexibility for your organizational support needs by offering two different ways of initiating a help desk session: the help service or the service ticket mode. Both modes can be in use at the same time.
Help service mode
When support is needed end users simply activate a Web link, run a small executable, and fill out an incident description. The request is automatically queued at the help desk where it waits for the next available help desk agent.
Service-ticket mode
In service-ticket mode end-users usually contact the help desk by phone. The service agent then directs the end user to a specific Web site or e-mails a link from where the small program is downloaded. A unique, one-time service ticket is created by the help desk representative. This ensures that Netop OnDemand connects to the same agent to the same user.
Easy to adapt
OnDemand creates simple host files with various authorization levels. The graphical user interface can be adapted to meet your corporate design.
Full remote control functions
You can display a host desktop as full screen or as a window, and host control is performed using a keyboard and mouse allowing remote controlled activation of commands and applications.
Extremely user-friendly
A very small host file (~650 kb) supports OnDemand and it can be run with a click of the mouse. The system does not require installation or administration rights and facilitates automatic and complete deletion of the host file when the session has ended.
Transparent for the user
OnDemand enables manual access confirmation by user with clear-text overview for rights associated with the help desk and provides a hot key for breaking the connection.
Firewall-compatible
OnDemand does not require complicated reconfiguring of the firewall through use of HTTP protocol over port 80. Our flexible configuration allows you to run Netop OnDemand through other ports.
Secure direct connection
We provide a direct and encrypted connection between host, gateway and guest computers without any need to interpose an external server. No 3rd party servers are used, ensuring the highest level of security. A host can disconnect at any time, placing the customer in control of the session.
Secure bidrectional file transfer
OnDemand has a high-performance file manager with drag and drop support for transferring updates, patches and drivers, or for picking-up files from remote computers for diagnosis through the help desk.
Integrates seamlessly with Netop Remote Control
We provide two great products in one intuitive interface. If you already use Netop Remote Control for network-wide support and maintenance, Netop OnDemand will integrate seamlessly and expand the functionality of your Netop Remote Control Guest.
Outstanding performance
OnDemand is one of the world’s fastest solutions. Your work flows smoothly, even with narrow-band connections, through utilization of self-developed compression methods and algorithms.
Integrated messenger
Our integrated chat function ensures that the user and help desk can stay in contact with each other during maintenance work, if necessary.
Verification-compatible session recording
In-depth logging of all activities on the guest computer and optional recording of complete sessions as video file ensure security and auditability.
Multiple/single connection to the help desk
Choose between connecting to the entire help desk or to individual supporters.
Let’s face it, sometimes it’s easier to just do things yourself. No long explanations. No misunderstandings.
Netop Remote Control OnDemand provides an environment where help desk agents can instantly access end user computers to solve incidents right now, right there. That means faster incident resolution, better service, and more productive end users.
Increased customer satisfaction and loyalty
With OnDemand, customers get their support problems solved quickly and without the frustration of trying to explain the problem or issue.
Faster incident resolution
No third-party servers are used to route the traffic. As a result, the traffic pattern is more straightforward allowing faster connections and faster call resolution.
Rapid ROI
Organizations using OnDemand experience reduced support costs through increased productivity. Ease of implementation results in a rapid return on investment.
Superior scalability
The Netop Gateway, which is part of the solution, can handle up to 200 concurrent sessions per Gateway. When extended with load balancing and multiple gateways, the system can support several thousand sessions.

The PrintLimit Pro Payment Gateway module provides universities and other organizations implementing pay-per-use printing with the ability to enable students and other users to purchase printing credits via credit cards, PayPal and other standard systems. The PrintLimit Pro Payment Gateway Module is an additional component that provides services that allow users to transfer funds from an external source into their personal Print-Limit Pro account. Examples of its use include:
Online payment
Larger organization such as universities or colleges may wish to provide online payment via 3rd services such as those provided by banks or organizations like PayPal and VeriSign. The payment interface may be provided for internal use (i.e. for student-only use), or opened up for external access to allow parents to make payments via the web. The Payment Gateway module can hook into a number of leading service providers or may be quickly adapted to fit others.
Student fee/management systems
A number of leading higher education organizations use the Payment Gateway module to allow students to transfer small amounts of credit into their print account. At the end of semester/term, this amount is totaled up and added to their fees/loan. The Payment Gateway module can be configured to automatically debit the student management records or an external database system.
Cashless systems
Organizations that use a centralized point-of-sale (POS) system to manage cashless payment on campus can benefit from the PrintLimit Pro Payment Gateway. These systems provide a database of users and interfaces/API's to withdraw funds from a centralized database. The Payment Gateway module can be configured to use these API's to transfer/withdraw funds from the central database.
Custom applications
The Payment Gateway module supports plug-ins and can quickly be customized to support other 3rd party systems. The customization can be performed by either the PrintLimit Pro development team or internally using your own development staff/skills. Contact support for development options and/or API documentation.
Here you will find the data sheets, case studies, user's manuals and other documentation for Print-Limit Pro, the award-winning print management software from Netop.
