Vision6 Teach Pad Annotated Diagram
The Netop TeachPad is a hardware accessory that plugs into the USB port on the teacher’s computer and performs the basic functions of classroom management in any classroom where Netop School or Vision is installed. The instructor’s computer must be running Windows XP or Vista, otherwise all standard Netop School or Vision system requirements are the same.

Netop TeachPad technical and system requirements

  • Netop Vision6 version 6.1.3 or higher, or Netop School version 6.2 or higher.
  • Teacher’s computer runs Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
  • Teacher’s computer has a USB port
  • Classroom meets standard technical requirements for Vision or School.

Installation

First install Netop classroom management software in your classroom. Then simply plug the Netop TeachPad into the USB port on the teacher's computer, and begin teaching.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I use the same Netop TeachPad with either Netop School or Vision classroom management software?
A. Yes, the same TeachPad will work with both Netop School and Vision classroom management software.

Q. Can I use the Netop TeachPad with Netop's MyVision classroom management software?
A. No, at this time the TeachPad does not support MyVision.

Q. Why do some Netop TeachPads have a button labeled "Surf-Lock", and some have a button labeled "Lock Web"?
A.  Surf-Lock is a term that was uniquely associated with Vision6. Now that the TeachPad supports both Vision and School, Netop is switching to the more general term Lock Web.  All versions of the TeachPad work identically, and there is no difference in the devices other than the label on the key.
